  • Buying Discs and Pads

Its probably not a politically correct thing to ask....

is there any benefit to buying my pads and discs from Roughtrax instead of Milners?

I have never had a problem with Milners but i have seen a few posts where people prefer Roughtrax....is the quality of the parts any different, or is it just the level of service which sways people?

    thanks

Most of us buy from RT. Does that help?

if theres a good reason then i'm happy to follow the flock...but i don't want to follow blindly if that makes any sense.

have you considered getting the disks skimmed instead of replaced?
I'm doing some work for the company who distribute the kit to do it in the UK and they reckon its really useful if your disks need refurbing (obviously not useful if you are down to the 'limit' anyway)

does that help if the discs are warped?

what does it cost to have them skimmed?

General opinion suggests that Roughtrax use better quality parts, but I'm sure that's not always the case.

I've used both, but prefer Roughtrax. I would advise you to buy from them, others will say Milners. Ultimately; it's up to you.
