Is it safe to tow an auto car if its in neutrol and the engine is left
ticking over, by safe I am refering to possible damage to the auto box.

Distance would be 40 miles, average 30/35mph, max 50mph.

if i need to tow an auto. i always disconnect the prop shafts, or remove them, for any distance. unless its on a trailler

I'm well aware of the various options available for moving an auto car,
does,nt answer my question though, but thanks anyway.
