    Anyone able to tell me if the calipers are the same on a 2.4 and 3ltr????

    facelift ones yes, earlier 2.4 had different ones..

      Thanks Steve, I have the ones off the breaker so i would like to refurb and paint them then just swap em over!

                The easy way to tell is that the newer ones have a much wider slot to accomodate the thicker rotors on the later models, and a slightly different casting, with a "blanked off " connection.
                ..plus recon newer version is nearly 3 times the price!

                Models Built Up to 1991
                Used with 289mm Vented Discs
                SUMITOMO Caliper
                Piston Diameter 43.0mm




                Models Built Up to 1996
                Used with 291mm Vented Discs
                SUMITOMO Caliper
                Piston Diameter 45.3mm

                  Cheers Spacast, I'll double check them visually, should be the same though as 2.4 was a 93 and my 3ltr is a 94.

                    Should be. Make sure you get the right pads for them. The earlier pads fit but overhang the disc rotor by a mm or two.
