  • Strange expensive sounding flapping noise-any ideas..?

First time posting on here. I've been a member for a while and the knowledge on here is vast and has always been useful so I'm asking for some help!

About a month ago a noise started on my '92 LN130. When it began it was like a slight intermittent knocking, loudest when the front passenger side window was down. It's now developed into a loud flat tyre sounding noise and is constant. The sound varies with speed and is still there when rolling down hill on a smooth surface with the gear box in neutral and foot on the clutch.

    So far I have......

Replaced front passenger wheel bearings, front anti roll bar bushes and front anti roll bar droplinks,

Stripped and cleaned brakes on all four wheels,

Greased all nipples I could find as well as installing nipples and greasing ball joints,

    and,

Fitted new driver side outer cv about 3 months ago, all other cv boots are in perfect condition.

I would really appreciate any other ideas of what it could be or where to look next as the noise is getting louder by the day!
