Grease nipple on prop- too much grease?

I think I may have pumped too much grease into the sliding joint in the rear prop. Was waiting for it to push out the joint, but ended up pushing the prop along a bit.

Will this cure it's self? Or do I need to clean some grease out somehow ?

It'll take the easy route out. If the prop was off the truck, moving the sliding joint would be easier than squeezing out of the seal.

It'll fix its self.
