Lift killed CV, any mods available?

I lifted my front by 2.5" to take up sag and to match the 2" spacers I fitted to my rear springs. I now learn that anything higher than a 1.5" lift on the front kills Gaiters and CV's....is there a cv available with greater flex that will fit our Surf CV's? I dont want to have to buy new CV's for the rubbers to just die and allow dirt ingress again!

Ahh...lowering the diff....makes sense. What difference do the manual hubs make?

They disconnect drive from the driveshafts, so the driveshafts only turn when in 4wd. If it's the inner boots that are gubbed, don't worry too much...
