not got any pics but can get them if needed.
i rolled under my new surf today to have a good look around and noticed the steering damper was nice and yellow with a red spring around it. looked aftermarket?
also the torsion bars are blue? are they blue as standard or are these aftermarket aswell?,

it also got clear light all round, new rear lights etc, its got a wackey hook thing on the front that doesnt look standard.

looks like my car has had some really love in the past

thrifty, you seem to know what your talking about, whats involved with doing a body lift? is it just a matter of fitting the 2" spacers?

Steering damper will be what's called a return to centre. This is what the spring does. Usuall not needed except with big tyres.
