285/75/16 tyres

Hi,can anyone tell me how much fitting 285 75 16 tyres to a 3 gen will affect the gearing ,ie will it be to high geared??.

You should be fine with them, I think most only start to think about re-gearing when their looking at fitting tyres above 33's.

I think they could rub on the plastic bits on your wheelarches - at least 275/75/16s did a bit on our standard 3rd Gen when turning.

a 285/75/16 wont fit unless you've a lift on your truck as they're a 33'' tyre

I'm thinking of fitting a set of these tyres, 285/75/16. I have a 2" suspension lift but no body lift. Anybody know should this give me enough clearance?
I Plan to use 16x8 D modular wheels with a -32 offset.
