  • Suspension Arms.

Oh how I love my surf.
Whilst crawling around underneath letting hot engine oil trickle down my arm , I noticed the adjuster cams on the suspension legs were in different positions.

Now to describe what I saw.
O/S the front cam hole was at 6 o'clock and the back one was at 9 o'clock whereas the cam holes on the N/S were both pointing down?

    Any suggestions?

    Leave it alone?

The cams are to set caster and camber. You really don't want to mess with them unless you have to.

If you have tyre wear and handling issues, then get the toe in/out checked, its rarely the cams unless someone has messed with them in the past.

Chassis are never completely identical, no two trucks will have the the cams in exactly the same place.

      Thanks for the answer.
It just struck me as strange I suppose that I had never noticed before , there is some more wear on the inside of the tread on that tire but I have put that down to having 3.5 bar/52psi tire pressure! all the others were at 1.9 even the spare.
The truck doesn't pull to any side so I guess I will leave well alone.
Something less for me to worry about.

Thanks again for the clear answer.
