Viscous Fan Oil

Hi All,

Gonna get me a new roughtrax radiator, thermostat and radiator cap in an attempt to sort these cooling issues.

I'm also gonna overhaul the viscous fan and replace the oil as I've heard that this can be a brilliant mod, I've had a look through the forum and saw this:-

Which is the best oil to buy, the 6000, 7000 or something higher?

When I checked the fan today after the engine was hot the ###### thing could literally be spun with my little finger!

I'm guessing that there is no oil left!

No wonder the vehicle was running hot!

I ordered 50mls of 7,000, 9,000 and 10,000 and will decide what to use when it arrives.

Toyota use 6,000 so I reckon anything above this is a good call.
