Burnt my clutch 1989 hilux surf 2.4 turbo Diesel

Well as the topic says burnt my clutch, anyone know any info on removal and install and places to order parts its much appreciated.

Being '89 I'm guessing it's prefacelift so you'll need the smaller clutch unless A: someone has already upgraded it from 225 to the new 240mm with a new flywheel or B: you upgrade the flywheel too like I did when my dual-mass flywheel exploded for either a replacement dual-mass flywheel or with the kit they provide that is a solid flywheel.

PS, it's a good idea to get the crankshaft oil seal and spigot bearing too in case you can change those while you're in there, it can't hurt as it's a long old job for at least 2 people and a ramp if possible so you don't really want to do it twice!!

sorry its an 87 i dont know where i got 1989 from.

its a 1987 hilux surf ssr limited turbo Diesel.

thanks for the info i'll be setting it on jack stands in my backyard and getting started asap.

is this pritty straight forward as far as unbolting ? do i need any specialty tools or pullers ?

well i got some good info from 4x4 guys here in town
pressure plate $125
pilot bearing $12
release bearing $49
and the clutch disk $125

and he recommended getting the flywheel grinded. these are oem daicin.exeter parts.

he said this should be good for another 300k with normal driving.

sounds fair to me, let me know what u guys think
