I came across this site while looking for tips and trick on replacing my fuel injection pump. There seems to be a good number of educated people here with some good 1kz experience.
Anyway, After a number of hours and frustration i finally managed to remove my faulty pump and refit another. my engine has lacked power for nearly 2 years now and after may trips to various diesel specialists it was suggested i try another pump. Anyway after the job was done i noticed an o-ring on my old pump that im sure wasn't on the new pump? Im guessing i have assembled the thing without it. What sort of problem will this create? its the smaller of the two o'rings which sits on the pump shaft.
