pinion seal!!!! LSD oil rockin horse s--t

Well met a very helpful mechanic today who told me that the groaning hub noise that I get when manouvering at low speed is Quite natural becase of it being a limited slip diff, also told me the axle oil leak at the companion flange is down to dodgy oil seal which he said he can put right fer 80 quids if i get the seal and lsd oil, seals on its way after visit to toyota lsd oil proving to be a bit more like rockin horse excrement!, but after fliping thru my haynes I think I could quite easily save myself 80 squids, just wanna ask you guys is it as straight forward as it looks and is there anythin i should be wary of or any special tools REQ, wher can i get the elusive LSD oil from ????

You should be able to get it from a motor factors, if not Difflock sell it.
