Too much oil

If I pop the bonett on my surf there seems to be a lot of oil on the underside of it especially at the front edge (sometimes even runs down front light). Is this a common problem on 2nd gen surfs or am I in a whole world of trouble. Checked cam seals etc but can't seem to see where its comming from. Someone suggested turbo blow back/by... Any ideas

Sounds like a crankshaft breather pipe missing split, or a loose oil pipe to the turbo.

Is the oil filler cap still on there?

Yep, filler cap is on ok - had a decent look and can't see anything obvious missing or split - engine running 100% so lets hope it keeps going that way

Seems strange its at the front edge, would have thought as Tony says but it would be more in the middle of the bonnet. Are you using a lot of oil?? would take breathers etc off and check for blockages.
