Hi Team,
First time using this Forum but I'm a regular visiter to the site,
Have got a 93 Hilux Surf SSR X 2.4TD Manual,
Just had Turbo re-conditioned, new thermostat and rediator cap done,
Checked the water last weekend to find she's dry......great,
Took her to mechanic and they pressure tested the cooling system to find 2 tiny leaks in radiator hoses, fixed them up but still no luck.
Filled her up and have been watching carefully since, holds water some days then drops water out the over flow next day....
Have checked oil for signs of water but oil looks fine, starting up sweet and not blowing white smoke,
Mechanic is thinking cracked head, merry xmas for me, was just asking of any help/ideas before becoming broke and tearing into the head,
Any help would be a great hand,
