Does anyone know if its possible to switch off the front passenger-side air bag in a 3rd gen surf?

Only if you disconnect the wires but i wouldn't recomend it.
WHY?If its not broke don't fix it. -
Need to put a child seat in the front, got a 4 week old baby and off to the lake district soon.

Deactivating one air bag will probably stop the others from working. They are monitored/controlled by a seperate ECU.
