I know there's a fix on here similar to this. This is my take on it which uses less components. All of which are pre-soldered.
It uses:
2 x 15mm to 22mm pre-soldered couplers
1 x (2x22mm, 1x15mm) pre-soldered T-piece
1 x Airvent (1/8") with bush (1/2") pre-soldered
1 x 2" piece of 15mm copper pipe
I went for the bush fitting as it also allows you to fill the cooling system from that point as well as bleeding it.
All component are from B&Q.
It will be fitted on the heater feed (the one without the valve fitted) as it is the highest point on my car and is already pre-split.
