  • Boost gauge?

I'm looking at fitting a boost gauge into the truck. Can anyone recommend a decent one please?

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure it has a remote sensor rather than a tube running into the cockpit otherwise the sound will drive you mad.

              OK, faiynuff.

              Some are noisy, some aren't.

The only reason it would be noisy (hiss or whistle) is if its leaky, and therefore broken.

Some cheap mechanical boost 'controllers' bleed off air going to the boost sensor. (I think it might be you who has one of those you're disconnecting. Its that making the noise probably.

Yes, it was me disconnecting it.

I disconnected the gauge first and the noise inside the cabin went away (a sort of Raspberry noise). It must have been a faulty gauge.

I've removed the boost controller now. There's no discernable loss in power so it was just useless.
