I went for the General Grabber A/Ts at £117 each, they're just as good off road as the old BFGs which they replaced, and if anything a little bit quieter on road.

quick follow on question..

Reading around it appears that 31" 10.5 fit no problems, the standards work out at around 29.5"

as money may be a little tight, I might only be able to afford to purchase a pair of them for now, so would say the rears be ok running 31" and the fronts running the 265/70 untill i can afford to put 31's on there as well?

or should i just pick up a cheaper pair of 265 till money allows all 4 to be changed at same time?

I'm guessing it'll be ok as its only 4 wheels drive off road???

It'll be OK as long as you dont use 4wd. I'd go for cheap replacements til your cash will stretch to a full set though.

thats what i was thinking..

is there really much advantage in having the 31" 10.5 over 265/70 on a 15" rim??

Aside from a tiny bit more diff clearance, not really.
