Somethings rubbing....

Yesterday I noticed a strange noise, I narrowed it down to the steering... It sounds like a dry rubbing, every time I turn the steering wheel, mainly on a full or nearly full lock. Any idea what it could be? Does it sound critical? Could it be anything to do with the body lift? I didnt have the steering thingy extended, didnt need to. Im a bit paranoid about weird noises coming from a vehicle im driving, think my wheels are going to fall off and get all nervous girlie!! Is my truck safe to drive?

Will probably be the steering stops. There's a load of threads about them, some with pics of what to look for.
