  • Solid Brake Line Replacement: Typical Cost?

When it rains, it pours. I've just replaced a CV joint, ball joint, 2 tyres and thought I was looking good to take the surf camping this weekend. Just ran a quick errand, brake light came on - I had a peek underneath and I'm leaking brake fluid like mad from the hard line near the fuel tank as described in some other threads.

Anyhow I've been recommended a shop to get the work done in, but before I ring them in the AM, I'm wondering what a fair/reasonable price is going to be for this work?
