front wipers

i seem to have about 3" of play in my front wipers, is the wiper motor knackered or is there something iam missing ?

Lift off the plastic cover at the start of the arm, then see if the retaining bolt has worked loose?

you don't understand, with both arms tight i can move them up and down the screen about 3 to 4 ". i have tried to alter the arms and they ether wipe past screen or onto bonnet. i just don't get it , that why i think motor gone

Maybe check out the other nuts and bolts from motor to arms then.

Only a suggestion mind hehe

Hi Shabby,

I think the motor is OK, so are the wipers,
it's the linkage in between thats worn or
come apart you can find it under the scuttle
panel below the screen, only 6 screws to take
out and uncover it.
Hope this helps.

will look at this asap, aarrr thinking about it, sometimes they wipe OK ,so yes never thought of that
