Speedometer display incorrect

I have just replaced my speedometer display from mph to one bought off Ebay which shows mph and kph as I do a lot of driving through Europe but the display does not show correct speed. Can someone help please?

You have put the needle back on in the wrong place Some times you can put the needle back on at zero with the ignition on but its not the most accurate way as you do not have a rolling road the most accurate way will be to remove the needle drive it up the road with the needle off using a sat nav and then put the needle back on at 30 mph, of course you will need to look where your going at the same time. then put the facia glass back on when you get back.
