  • Clunk from steering

Getting a clunk at the wheel when hitting potholes/ travelling over dry, rutted fields...
Have replaced track rod ends, top & bottom ball joints, anti roll bar links and bushes and checked steering rack bushes, and no obvious play in wishbones or wheel bearings, but the shock bushes don't look too hot. All this was done to eradicate juddering, and was successful, if a little spendy. There is some play in the steering, about 5-10 degrees at the wheel, but at 109k miles the rack will have some play I reckon.
Am I missing unseen wear in the wishbone bushes,is it the shocker bushes or is there something else I'm missing ?
Feel free to tell me I'm a muppet, you'll not be the first...
