Hi folks,

can anyone tell me the biggest tyre i can fit to a standard surf rim of 15x6jj , i read on here somewhere that a 265x70 would fit but i can't see how you could put a10inch tyre on a 6 inch rim!

Without lifts etc 31 x 10.5 x 15 will fit and not catch anywhere, I have these on the standard rims.

but are your standard rims 6jj i know some are 6.5 or 7inch.

A 31x10.5 needs a 7" rim minimum. The widest tyre you could fit on a 6" rim is a 235. Get new rims!

Be careful if you are putting 31 x 10.5 tyres on anything bigger that 8 inch rims . I have those on mine and they do catch on the back of the wheel arch on full lock going forward and partial lock going backwards.I had the arches moved slightly to stop this.
