diff question

will a 2.4 lsd fit in a 3.0 rear axel?

the 2.4 diff should fit in as i was going to fit 2.4 diffs onto my old 3.0l to give better drive for the bigger tyres

i guess the ratio is lower

yea the 2.4 diff is i think a 4.8 and the 3.0l is something like a 4.1.

are the half shaft splines the same, coz on landies you have 10 and 24 spline veriants....

another thing on landies you can swap diffs from front axel to rear or vice versa is this poss on a surf or are they completly diferent being ifs up front?

its only going to cost to send it back John.If you want to take the injectors and glow plugs out then scrap whats left if you want.I'll sort the refund out asap for you.Just waiting for things to settle with the bank at the mo as we just collected Mandy's new car today from toyota and the finances are up in the air at the mo.

Also keep the leak off pipe aswell john as thats £15's worth if you want to sell it on and i normally sell the injectors for about £40 delivered and glowplugs about £25 delivered
