right oh cheers. There is a massive amount of corrosion inside the mounting bushes and large scores where the lumps of rust have ripped the rubber.

I've taken the rust off the ARB but I think its past the "slight pitting is allowable" remark on the new bushes instruction!!

Anyone any experience of that chemical metal style filler stuff you get for pitted shafts (insert penis gag here) i've got some I can pinch so I'll give it a shot.

Time to look for a replacement ARB, brackets, bolts and links I would say.

I've done a bit of repairs to the ABR, using chemical metal to make up the pitting/corrosion on the bar. I dont know how well it will wear but I'll inspected it after a good bit of test driving! (I'll come back to it when I get some new steering components) I've fitted new bushes, cleaned it all up and after some general use today I can say it has really made a huge difference when turning!

Who'd have guesssed it the Anti-roll bar really does stop body roll!! I thought it was just a technical sounding name!!

        Thanks for the help everyone!!

Depends if they are made of cheese or not. Rubber is much much better.
