  • Brake pads, Second Gen.

I have a second gen 2.4 td that needs brake pads. My mechanic has had to draw around my pads for a parts dealer to identify. This is retarded.
Anything i can tell him to ask for to make this all easier? Model of another Toyota truck/jeep that has the same pads etc?

    Thanks.

Just ask for 1990 - 1995 Toyota 4Runner brake pads. Most motor factors know what a Surf is too these days.

      Or order them from here...

At the back of every after-market brake lining catalogue, you'll find actual size outlines of your pad/shoe for comparison. I assume your mechanic wanted you to outline the pad, then re-fit it so you could use the truck until you got new pads.

He's got the Hilux now, he's faffing alot but he's and old grease monkey so struggling with the whole import idea i think. Just trying to make things a little easier for him. I've passed him on the shared links so i'm sure he'll sort it.

                  Thankyou.
