cabin/pollen filter?

hi all can anyone tell me if a cabin/pollen filter is fitted to my car if so where is it? cheers

2nd gen surfs & 4runners dont have a pollen filter as far as i know. this has been discussed before

I had to remove my glove compartment the other day, as it wasn't closing properly. I noticed there was a filter of some description behind it.

Any ideas what this is for?
