Lifetime ATF?

The sticker on the dipstick states that "NOTICE: No need to change ATF under normal driving conditions. See owner's manual whan replacing."

Does this mean lifetime ATF when driving is "normal"?
Plus, which ATF are you guys using? On the dipstick it says T-IV, while the owner manual says Dexron II.
The truck is 2001 Surf with the A340F transmission

I use Dextron 2 or 3, not had any experiance of the other stuff.

I would call normal driving around town in the UK, any towing, offroading, fast driving, or hot places (like you!), i'd be changing it more, or at least still checking it for colour and smell.
