help needed badly

recently my 2.4lt surf the head creaked. i replaced it with a 3.0 head and in the process i broke a head bold one right next to the thermostead. what i need to know is wat problems can it cause. also i lost power and my max speed is 80km/hr. it also runs heavy. any help will be greatly apriciated.

Hi.
The 3.0l head don't go on the 2.4.I take it you mean the 2.8l 3l which is the straight replacent head for the old 2.4 one.It should have all the bolts in so you will have to take it off and get the remainder of that bolt out and fit a replacement

What Stormy said, you won't get a decent seal on the gasket long term with a bolt missing, its probably down on compression on that cylinder, so not running properly.

It'll also stress the head and make it liable to crack again. You really need to take it all apart and sort it out.
