can the pins on the wheel hanger be removed ? or is it a case of just squirting in lube to stop it rusting solid ??

If you look closely at the hinged section you should find a couple of small holes to squirt the grease in to

don't go to mad, 50% of the 3rd gens i see people moan cos the carrier is loose and rattles, the other half are tight, most people prefer it the latter after freeing it up!

Ye a few times mine has hit me in the back because i was on a slight tilt. "f**kin hurts too".
Must remember to start using the pin on the hinge.
If its not broke don't fix it.

Does anyone know an easy fix for the above as it's driving me nuts. Would quite happily have a really stiff one but the better half greased it. Any suggestions?
