deisel leakage

hi i have a 93, 2.4 when i start the car first thing in the morning i am leaking desel, i have replaced the glow plugs and the fuel pipe to the injector pump and the copper washers , also when i pull away first thing the car sluggish.any suggestions and help will be appreciated.

check the injector pump - the top seal is relatively easy to replace if it's just that (can do it with the pump still on the engine) any other seals it will need to come out really.

I had a pug 306, hated it; and it hated me.

But one of the many faults it developed was the return derv hose failed, that is the pipe taking warm derv back to the tank, poured it onto the road.

Wasted a lot of fuel that week.

I did enjoy going about it with an eight pound lump hammer before scrapping it.
