  • CV Joint removal

How the feck does the outer cv joint come off the halfshaft?????
I can see from the new one that the cv has a female spline in it but i cant get the old one off????????????

Is it simply brute force or is there a way to strip and undo it further

I ve got it stripped to this stage

Thanks for the link Al, wish i'd seen it earlier.
Took the whole thing to a mates workshop so i could put the shaft in a sturdy vice.
Took a lot more beating than that pipe trick to get it off as it's had no grease in it for quite a while by the look of it!!
