3rd gen front body interchangeable?
Hi, this is my first post here, and i'm completely redoing the front end of my '97 4runner (hit a tree)....
I believe that the headlights, grille, and hood of a '99, '02, etc. are interchangeable with the '97 model, but the bumpers on the newer 3rd gens take a good bit of work if you want them to fit, which i don't plan to do.
Does anyone know if any retrofitting is needed if the fenders, hood, grille, bumper....(entire front end) are being replaced w/ the '99 or '02 style as opposed to just replacing for example the bumper?
Hope my question is clear, and thanks ahead of time for any help or advice...
