the bairn tyed to open back window wen it was frozen up,now dosnt go down, motor ok,had door panel off and the glass has come out of runner put rubber seal back on and wound it back up was a bit stiff,wound back down again and glass stayed up runner came back down,any one no how to fix it, chears

When you say "wound" do you mean you have manual windows, not electric?

On my electric windows the glass is held onto a bottom bar (which goes up and down at the base of the glass) by two bolts.
If yours are manual, you may have a completely different set up (I've not seen manual windows on a surf before), and the above information may be completely useless.

there electric,a still say wind ya window up or down,its the bar with the rubber strip that the window sits in ,i sat the glass back in it and wound [put] the window back up,then wen it came back down again glass stayed up !!!!!!!!!

3 things i would suggest trying to fix your window issue;

1. Use silicone spray lube to clean and lube the window seals and channels, the window could be coming loose from the runner due to friction.

2. Tighten the runner bolts/screws (be careful not to break the glass). These bolts can work loose over time, may be try a touch of blue loctite?

3. If tightening doesn't work then try a bit of propper double sided tape in the runner (the type used for number plates etc.)

Or as a last resort, a bead of sealant in the runner might do the trick.
