my surf has developed a vibration at low revs while stationary. If I bring the revs up the vibration decreases.
It still sounds like it is running on all cylinders but it feels a little flat during acceleration.
I dont know if this is related but when I pull away with a cold engine in first gear it feels like the engine is shuddering and there is a screaching noise..possibly theclutch and the thrust bearing?. on one occasion when depressing the clutch I felt a kick back through the pedal.

Has anyone had this problem or do you know whats wrong?
