VIN numbers et al

Can anybody either point me in the direction of a definitive list or explain my VIN, Axle and Transmission codes to me?

I've been feeding my VIN into various "decoders" and they all say it's invalid...

Model: KZN130R-GKMSXW
Axle: G285
Transmission: R150F

Your axle code reads:

G = 8" rack and pinion
28 = 4.3 ratio
5 = 4 pinion, limited slip diff

* First Gear: 3.830:1
* Second Gear: 2.062:1
* Third Gear: 1.436:1
* Fourth Gear: 1.00:1
