Broken Shock

Well,

It never rains but it pours!

Went out today to find that one of my rear shocks had snapped at the top where the bar goes through the chassis.

I'm gonna take the plunge and get 4 new ones, have been looking for an excuse!

Can anyone suggest a good set and where to get them?

I reckon my Surf has had a 2/3 inch lift but I'm not certain.





Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction?

I just ordered the +2 "Desert Fox" ones, they seem pretty good!

I hope they can fight there way through the Christmas post and courier shenanighans!

Am I right in presuming that you do not need "boots" or "gaiters" on these shocks?
