front brake pad fitting

Hi, can anyone point me to a fitting guide for front brake pads on a kzn 130 1994 surf please. The pads seem to be different and i wondered if it made any difference which way round they went in and also the anti rattle spring thingy is there a particular way round this goes. Thanks in advance for any help.
