  • rear wheel bearing and seal change

    Hi All

My surf needs a rear wheel bearing and seal change - anyone got any good advice on where to take it in worcester. Normal place I take it doesn't want the work due to having to have a special puller to do the replacement of the bearing and a past experience of doing it

No need for a puller to get it off. Grinder and big hammer works and seems to be the accepted method! This is assuming the rear axle is similar to a 2nd gen rear axle.

I dont know of anyone who particularly would do it offhand, but it shouldn't present a problem to any reasonably equipped garage.

You can't save the ABS ring that way, and risk damaging the shaft. But can be done.
