Rear tailgate glass

Does anybody know if the tailgate glass off an older model will fit a 3rd gen ?

I think the tailgates are a bit different shape.There is a guy on ebay breaking a 3rd gen at the moment.I'll find the link a mo

Cheers, looked into that. No glass. Just wondered if they were all the same shape or do I need to get one specifically for a 3rd gen.

Personally, I'd say it's very doubtful that anything other than a 3rd gen/Prado glass would fit. Totally different tailgate to the earlier gens.

Cross reference the part numbers over at toyodiy.com if you want to be certain.

Thanks for that link. Looks like a handy site. Unfortunately it seems that 2nd and 3rd gen back windows have a different part number and appear to be slightly different on the drawing. Just thought it would give me a better chance of getting a part.
