hi All, help needed please, finally got round to changing the bushes in the steering idler, but have noticed quite a lot of up and down play in the ball joint on the arm itself! So im lost as to what to do? Shall i put the new bushes in and rebuild or would it be better to order a new complete steering idler? Help guys cos im peeed off and freezing working outside in this ###### awful weather

    thanks Mick

Ball joint end, if worn, is non repairable so replace the complete unit.

17mm spanner and 17mm socket on air gun. pliers for split pin. and maybe balljoint splitter. should take you 15mins to change. maybe some swearing. you should get a wee grease nipple with the new badboy...
