35's on a surf??? please help

  • 35's on a surf??? please help

    hi guys, just a quick question, will 35x12.50x15's on 10j modular rims fit on my surf without problems???i have a 3inch bodylift and a small suspension lift i dont want to lose any articulation or clearance or anything!! let me know what you rekon!!thanks

        If you've got a combined lift, (body and/or chassis), of approximately four inch or more, they should be fine.

          You need a 5" lift and a big hammer to run 35's

            You'll lose a little articulation on the front due to having to wind up the torsion bars to make them (33s) fit - the front will be stiffer. You *might* lose some on the back too if you use landcruiser springs for the same reason.

            However, you'll partially offset the reduction in articulation by having greater ground clearance due to bigger tyres.

            This all assumes you are doing the lift the cheap way, not the £1000 supertrux way.
