  • to much play in park?

when i put her in park i find she rolls back or forth quite a lot. is this normal? im sure she didnt have that much play before when i put her in park?
if im parked on a slight decline then she will roll forward about 4 inches before she sits still. visa versa if in on a incline.
she just feels loose and i like my ladies tight!

Provided it doesn't carry on rolling, don't worry. Plus, use your handbrake. That's what it is for.

yeah i use it all the time now. its embarrassing when i put it in park because it rocks back and forth like a donkey lol
now i just use the HB before i release the foot brake.
would still rather tighten it if i can?

It's quite normal for a few inches movement when in park, not just on a Surf, but any automatic. It locks the gearboxn so all the other transmission components (ie transfer box, diff, propshafts etc) will have a little bit of movement which all need to be taken up. Think yourself lucky you don't have on board brake drums, you get a bit of movement on them too.
