  • Please Help Me Change A Wheel

    Hello,
I have a nail in one of the back tyres and it has a slow puncture.
Can anyone tell me how to change the tyre (step by step) and whether I can get the tyre fixed or would I need to buy a new one? How much should I expect to pay?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sarah

first off ensure your surf is in a good position as we dont want you to get hurt. handbrake on & in park position. next step is to loosen wheelnuts. only loosen dont remove them!!!!!! you need to position jack in a safe position on a solid jacking point. At this time you need to get hold of your spare wheel is it mounted underneath or on the tailgate ????????

Blow the tyre up and drive the car to a tyre fitting place like everyone else.

don't jack up the body like a usual car! put the jack under the axle or something... otherwise you'll rip the body off the chassis!

sohuld be able to do a repair as long as it's not in the sidae wall or shoulder... be about a fiver, depending if its big or small and they use a patch or bung.
