  • Exhausting Dilema

Well I am going to treat my Surf to a new exhaust system, and as I intend to keep the car for a while, I am looking at a Stainless Steel System.

    1) My local Toyota garage can supply and fit one for about £300 ish - but they only guarantee it for 3 years.

    or

    2) There is a place local to me which is a sub-franchise of Kwik-Fit - convenient, but are they good quiality?

    or

    3) This place: http://www.exhausts.uk.com/ are about a hundred miles away (but local to my parents) and seem to boast a better product for approximately the same cost as the other two.

Should I get pattern or genuine Toyota parts? Does anyone have any advice to offer? Which should I go for?

JP Exhausts in Macclesfield can make you one up in stainless... very helpful friendly place with considerable experience in making exhausts and manifolds for all vehicles

        A 3 year guarantee on a S/S system..tell them to get stuffed.
Any reputable supplier should be happy to give you at least a 10 yr warranty, many offer lifetime guarantees.
