Engine/head change

Hi guys...

I know it might have been asked before but how much work is it to change the head if it goes on a 2.4td? and now part two how much does it cost? or is it better to yank the engine out and replace it with a 3lt td? its on a manual gearbox... and issues with the dvla etc...

Swapping a 2.4 engine to a 3.0 is harder as nothing is compatible. e.g. Loom, mounts, etc.

Thanks for the replies... so it looks like i'll just have to sit it out until i find a decent 3lt td surf thats manual and that i can afford... or i might have to go to the darkside... a 3t V6 Mitsubishi challenger...
