  • ONE step on.

Biohazard,,, i now know what a Harmonic Balancer is, cos mine has bin a bit naughty, TY. We read We learn.
Just ONE other thing though everyone, took the RAD out before the search and the two bottom hoses have OIL in them, is that a separate chamber in my RAD for extra oil cooling or have i got a prob?
    I wish it was mine.

thats the atf cooler in the bottom of the rad.its a shit design really as it adds extra heat to the coolant.
Just check the atf levels once everything is connected back up

you can fit an external oil cooler which will keep the atf cooler and also help reduce heat in the rad coolant aswell

the external oil cooler can be bolted on somewhere behind the valance or grille and then just connect the 2 pipes to it that would fit to the bottom of the rad.Its easy enough as long as you got clear air flow going to it

nice one m8, only thing is the only place for it to go would be below the RAD and that space is taken by 2 fans. Which i assume is air con

you can fit it to the o/s of the rad and fix it to the valance or something. The 3.0l breaker i had from Joker last year had it fitted to the side and it was just sticking below the valance

I'd fit it in series with, but in line before, the original one. That way the ATF will a fair whack of heat before it hits your cooling system, but will stay at roughly the same temperature as the cooling system, which is roughly the temperature you want the ATF to be at... (I know what I mean)

Overcooling the ATF will cause you woe as well.
