Anti-roll bar extentions.

Does anybody know where I could get some anti-roll bar extentions for a
Gen 2 with a 3" lift Front and rear.
I maybe buying a surf with the lift but no Anti-roll bars fitted.

Just leave the ARB off at the back - I'm assuming the lift is to let you have more fun offroad - the articulation you'll get is much better.

Yes I agree that it would allow bettter off road driving, but on road
it is a rolling pig!
I am willing to compromise, the off road.
Anybody got any plans, measurements, photos of Front and Rear extention
brackets?

You can just cut and lenghten the existing links .If you dont have any bars or links I can supply them for you.

Is the front one removed? If so, re-bush it and refit. As Mud said, leave the back one off. It doesn't appear to make any difference.

I assume they're just a longer droplink. You could cut your own and weld tube over them to lengthen.

Thats wot I meant to say . But would use 2mm min wall tube.
You let me know how much longer you want them and I will do them for you . May do an exchange service were you send me you old ones (as long as in usable condition) and I send you the modified ones to your spec . Cost I would estimate at £25 +P&P.

I do not know of anyone who has done it that way . Far easier to extend the drop links themselves . By lowering the ARB you are exposing it to more likely of being hit when off roading. The rear ARB is known to tear out of the chassis mounts when in standard form , let alone when dropped down .

A guy on the Aussie forum used the 42792 links here. I have no idea if the ball joint end is the right fit for the Surf.

Here's my rears......


They're just a square plate with the new mounting holes spaced to however much the suspension is raised from stock height.

The original holes are 80mm apart. The new holes are 65mm down from there.

Bushwacker thats exactly what I meant.
If this new truck of mine has ball joint spacers on the front wishbones
even with a few turns of the torsion bars, would the front ARB fit
without any modifications?
